When customizing your template, you can enjoy the convenience of using TAGS (e.g., Client Full Name, Destination, etc) for your text descriptions. This feature saves you time by quickly filling in the exact details you need when you are creating a quote for a specific client.
Using the TAGS function
The TAGS function lets you add placeholders in your templates allowing for dynamic content. When you use a TAG (e.g., 'Client Full Name') in the template text, this TAG will automatically be replaced with the actual information from the client (e.g., John Doe) when you use this template.
You can find the TAGS function when you are editing the text for your Cover Page, Activities, or Email Message.
1. Go to the text you want to edit that supports the TAGS function:
- Cover Page: Edit template --> 3. Preview & Edit --> Edit Cover Page
- Activities: Edit template --> 3. Preview & Edit --> Edit Day X
- Email Message: Edit template --> 4. Save
2. Click or hover over the TAGS function at the bottom right of the text box:
3. Select the correct TAG in your template and SafariOffice will automatically fill in the corresponding information when you use that template to create a Quote for a specific customer. You can still personalize each quote if needed.
> TIPS: You can also use the TAGS function to insert placeholders into the default texts in your account settings to simplify your quote creation process. You can still change the full text for each unique quote or template later on if you want.
