How to add and manage images and video

In addition to descriptions, you can also add and manage media items like images and videos in Your Content Library. You can upload and manage them from one single place. In this article, we explain how to add and manage these media items.

To manage these items open Your Content Library

Adding images

  1. Navigate to the item you want to add images to and click the item
  2. Or create a new item, click Add New Content
    • or if it is for a Theme or country click Add Media
  3. Now click the 'Images' tab
  4. Click 'Upload to this Destination (or Accommodation, Activity, Theme or Country)

  5. You can now either drag and drop your images to the shown area or click the area to open your local file browser to select the images.

Note: for quality, performance, and upload stability we have some guidelines
  • Max 10 images at a time of max 10MB per image.
  • Images can be in PNG or JPG format and min 1024×768px.
  • Images will be saved in a 4x3 aspect ratio.

 

Once you have uploaded the images you can (optionally): 

  • Move the image right to left if it is too wide for the format (click and drag) to make an optimal crop.
  • Set a description for the images 
  • Fill out a copyright name (copyrights will be mentioned in the quote)
    • OR check 'no copyright' - none will be shown
  • Click Save to save the to your Content Library

  • If one or more of your images fail to comply with the minimum standards set, SafariOffice will give a warning and the option to upload another image.
  • You can also delete an image in case you have accidentally uploaded the wrong one.

Deleting Images

Images you have already uploaded can be deleted if needed.

  1. You can either select one by clicking on it or more (or all)
  2. Hit the delete button at the right top to remove them from the system.

These images will not be used again when generating new quotes, but in sent quotes and tour templates, they will remain as long as no edits are done. 

 

Editing Images

To edit an image click the 'edit' button at the right bottom of the image in the image overview tab. 

A new window will open and you can make adjustments to the crop, description, and copyright settings. You can also delete an image in this view.

 

Adding Videos

  1. Navigate to the item you want to add videos to and click on the item
    • Or create a new item, click Add New Content
  2. Now click the 'Videos' tab
  3. Insert the weblink (URL) from either YouTube or Vimeo
  4. Click 'Add Video'

Once you have added the video you can see a preview of the video, and you can also delete the video again by selecting it and clicking the delete button at the right top.

 

Adding Cover Images

For Destinations, Themes, and Countries you can add Cover images.

  1. Navigate to the item you want to add a cover image for to and click on the item
    • Or create a new item, click Add New Content
  2. Click on the tab Covers
  3. Click Upload to this destination (theme or country)
